This sewing thing has gotten totally out of control.

See, first there was The Writing. And it was good. But in hopes of making it better, I started attending Cons. And there I discovered Costuming. And it was .... well, to a narcissist like me, it was crack.

I first did the Harley Quinn costume in 2002, for ConQuest in Kansas City. Once the pictures hit the internet it was all over.... people were begging me to make them costumes or at least sell the pattern. I can't blame them, because designing that hood was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Since then I've started Dealing to support my habit. And that has been awesome, because people give me money while feeding my narcissism.

I've had the pleasure of meeting great people who enjoy quality costuming, who understand that it's a form of performance art and are constantly striving to build better armor out of PVC pipe. Costumers are always ready to share tips and show you where they bled on their costume while making it. I love 'em all.
